I have treasured books and reading

my whole life. At age 4, I wrote and

illustrated my first book, "A Repertoire

of Vegetables". I'm certain it was no

bestseller. But I remember how much fun

I had sitting at the kitchen table with my

watercolors, painting these beautiful, bright

red radishes. What a weird kid, right?

When I was young, my mom took me to the library every week to check out new books, and I was like a kid in a candy shop. I stayed

up past my bed time every night to read under the covers with a flashlight, so I didn't get caught. (I still do, just not under the covers!) It's no shock that I ended up making books as a career.

It wasn't until college that I realized my love of text design, but it's obvious now that it was an early passion. At age 13, I began to practice calligraphy in my free time. In high school, instead of doodling pictures I drew my friends' and teachers' names in

different styles, over and over... and over... and over again. All that practice has culminated in a very refined (and picky) taste in fonts.

I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most inspiring and generous clients, on award-winning projects, and I hope to keep up the trend. If you think we'd collaborate well, drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you!
